What the deal with 4g64?

How well would a 6 or 7-bolt(Head or Block) fit with a 3g 4g64? I'm curious to learn more about this "other" engine since it's a 2.4l. What parts are inter-changeable? Those who have tried it let me know please.

There are thousands of 7th gen galants out there with 2.4's out there. The galant block is the same as the spyder 2.4 so it will bolt right in the eclipse.
