Isn't it any size that will fit through both holes and is long enough to clear both flanges?
If so, go to ace they have a strong grade bolt selection. They always work for me.

I use 7/16 coarse with lock nuts and washers.
I am still open to all suggestions. I got the car in pieces, and am now finding out how many parts are gone.

Funny you say that. I can understand how many parts you are missing. That stuff seems to just walk away. My buddy is attempting to rebuild his V8 and lets just say that his garage is as organized as a garbage dump.
Don't worry though, you will piece together everything soon enough to be back running. Just have a brew when you get down in the dumps:D

Actually, it was a car that was brougt to me, he just forgot to mention that it needed a lot of sensors and chit. But the brew thing sure works .:D

Have fun, I just organized my garage and found sixty bazillion bolts that I put into a large toolchest drawer and it overflows. Lol I have a hardware store in my toolbox.

If the bolt holes in the cat arent stripped, it uses 10mmx1.25. I think the length is 35mm long. If they are stripped, 3/8 bolts and nuts will work fine. The cat will have to be drilled larger to use 7/16 bolts.

Second the 10 MM bolts
Better to use metric hardware than standard. Less tools to drag around.

I feel ya. This was a direct quote from another forum as a reply when I said I need a larger shop to work in. "Yea, keith needs all the room he can find to throw empty beer cans hahaha " I guess it is better to throw beer cans than wrenches and hammers.

LOL except it sucks when you throw it over the car and realize at the same moment that little fragments of beer get on your car, or your girlfriend, I am not sure which one was worse, but the latter one bitched a lot more.

Except that the dsm is half and half so you have to use both anyway....

Only when people replace hardware with whatever they have lying around.

What bolts or fasteners have you found to be standard?

Yea Bro. I love My beer at times.LOL. And it is a bit better to throw a beer instead of tools, till you realize it was Your last one WTF

Thanks again Everyone. I did get it figured out anyway. We had just had a close friend pass, so it was all a lot harder than it should have been.
