What maintenance do you need to do when you first get your 2G eclipse

So I am wondering what maintenance do you need to do when you first get your 2G Eclipse? Any answers will help thank you!

change all your fluids, if there is no history on a timing belt change do that and check out your entire suspension and brakes. also go through and make sure there isnt a mess of wire under your dash etc.

What model? The specifics will vary based on GS/RS, GST, GSX, etc. But the basics are:

- Timing belt, pulleys, and hydraulic tensioner
- Oil and filters
- Accessory belts
- Spark plugs and plug wires
- Trans, transfer case, and rear diff fluids (if applicable)
- Check/replace brakes and worn suspension components

Check turbo for shaft play if it has one. Check for any fluid leaks of anykind. Check condition of rad hoses/ vac lines/ intercooler piping and couplers ect...

Definitely change the fluids and check for leaks. If you do the spark plugs, might as well do a compression test while you're at it too.
