Okay, I've heard it all before, you can't put an EVO head on a DSM block.
What I wanna know is, how hard would it be to put MIVEC on a DSM head? Now, before you start throwing out all kinds of problems and techincalities at me, I made a Miata run off a rotary engine, I can put MIVEC on a mitsubishi engine head. I just need to know, what exactly is MIVEC. Not Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control, I wanna know what exactly makes it work.
I think it's probably some sort of governor on the camshafts and a computer chip wired into the ECU along with a supporting ECU. Some more details would be nice. For this, google has failed me. All I can squeeze out of that poor soul is what the initials stand for and that it goes on gasp Lancer Evolutions!
So a few details would be nice, and I'll get this all done at some point in the (probably pretty far) future. And thanks in advance for not giving the broken record "can't be done" speech, here.
