What FMIC is this?

This Front mount came with one of my DSM's uninstalled. No name on it and the piping doesnt fit the car, so it must be generic. any idea's?

Core dimensions are: 20"x9"x2 1/4"

No lettering or names anywhere on the intercooler. It feels like it was contructed well. Nice solid intercooler. Fins are fairly large

Looks like my old trust greddy fmic. They are decent for a small turbo but the piping for those is a mile long. Decent for a t25 or 14b id say.

That intercooler probably didnt come on the car when you bought it is t made for a dsm i just realized if it was that pipe on the left would be on the right and face the opposite direction ill see if i can dig up one that design for our car.

I personaly have the same intercooler as the first photo. But mine says godspeed. Looks to be a cheep knock-off of a greddy or a godspeed.

Vrsf is great! I just installed mine about a week ago. I didnt notice any lag from the sidemount. And I just realized i had boost leaks from when i installed the front mount.

VRSF front mount is good for what its worth and its been used by people that made 400whp+. Just because it cheap doesn't mean it not going to work. Take for example Holset turbo it cheap and work f**kn awesome.

That's an old Apex'i knock off more than likely, though it may be real. The 'greddy' style doesn't use an angled pipe as that one does.

The core he has is route different from the greddy. It would be routed the same as eBay/Godspeed kits like this

OP you don't need a expensive intercooler to go fast. The vrsf is a very good kit and people have put some good numbers down with it. Amazing kit for the price!

I have an hx40 and had it with the vrsf. Not a good combo. 4" thick ets was a good idea.

Thank you for your help with branding the inter cooler. And that's great and all that you run an ETS, but some people including myself don't have the funds available to go that route. The VRSF is fully capable of the power I'm planning on making and at an affordable price.

Now that that's over, it can be concluded that the OP fmic is a Godspeed knockoff?

I also vote for vrsf fmic kit. Ets is nice and good quality but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to weld up a bar and plate intercooler with good end tanks. I would only get ets if a you have the money and why not if your rich, or b if you put alot money in your car and don't skimp out on cheap parts and know that ets is good for alot of power. Any other intercooler kit (punishment racing, vrsf) are great kits. It's really personal preference. But ya if it comes down to it you own a ets like some people they think there top notch of the best of the best but forget there not the only ones who can weld metal together. I vote vrsf way half less the price of ets and I am sure can handle the horsepower yours and many other peoples cars on here can make it's still a decent 3.5 inches.If you start getting into the higher power ets does make bigger cores witch in the end will be the way to go, a nice quality fmic is an important part of the car no doubt. On a side note about that fmic you have I always hated that piping that would cross back over the intercooler.

The vrsf welds look like chicken shit burnt an oxidized like they used no argon. I had two cores, yeah they hold fine at 400hp but when you are getting above that i was still seeing 20+ degrees over ambiant in my iata. Ets. I see 4 or 5* just fyi.
