the headgasket is a ralliart one it has 4 layers so should not have problem. Wiseco pistons are the best ones out there for the street right now. Highly recommended.

What parts do I still need (1g parts)?

6 bolt flywheel? Fidanza OR stock?

They will guarantee that the motor will be able to make 500 hp safely and it will handle up to 40 psi.

What else is involved????

Hey, How can I get ahold of Hi-Rev Performance? I tried 411 but they couldn't find it. I have a blown engine in my 2g and was looking to get a 6 bolt swap but the only place I could find wanted 7000 for parts and install (only bottom, keeping 2g top).

Or, do any of you guys know of any where I can get it done in So. Cali.?

PTE50 trim turbo , 550 cc's, 255hp walbro fuel pump, s-afc.

Pro Street Industries basically did mods on my car 5 months ago and the day I got my car back from them the engine blew up, they told me they'd fix it and the day I picked it up it they charged me $900. I was pissed, paid and left with the car. The car ran funny and 2 days later the engine blew again!!!

I told them I'd sue, they said they'd fix for free and rebuild the engine. I picked it up it ran OK and I totally babied it, month later, engine blew while I was at a stop light cuz they installed my timing belt wrong!!!

Hi rev has fixed their mistakes. They have mad knowledge and they do great work. They warrant their work if that doesn't say it all!

550's, 9.1 Compression, and a 50trim arent gonna be a good combo unless you plan on always running race gas. Even then.. You need bigger injectors.
 
I really wouldn't use race pistons on a DD. The stock ones are fine unless you plan to go way out, like over 450-500HP even then they can hold up. Just remember the higher the compression the higher octane you'll need, and that can get $$ with gas prices as they are.

Also with the race pistons you run a higher risk of piston slap and the cylinders wear out faster.

Compression limits you to about 28psi on the 50 trim with race fuel. Not to bad but you can make more power with less compression.


550cc aint gonna cut it. Im running my 550's at 95% dc at 48psi base fp and 21psi of boost with a big 16g. You should consider 750cc injectors at a minimum. You can run less but keep the boost down. And what do you have as a fuel pump? You need at least a 255lph walbro. Good luck, it sounds good but also sounds like you were milead a little.
