Its not even the look even its just the "status" that the car brings, or they see . I worked with a girl a couple years ago sho said she wouldn't date a guy unless he had a vette(which was the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life). I mean shit do you know how many ugly ass bmws and benzes there are? lots, but skeezes(and I say this becasue they are not the girls you want to date) see a badge and cream their pants.

True. This is the most honest statement I have seen in this thread.

However I don't use the Vette to pick up women, same reason I do not join a gym to meet women. It's all business. Cars like these are meant to be driven fast, on a track, where it's most at home at.

If somebody wants to pick up chicks, you're better off with lowrider, an Escalade or something that has a backseat.

Well, personally, I think the stereotypical chick that doesn't know jack about cars would go for the Vette because it is more well known as the ultimate American sports car, while they might see the Supra as just another Japanese car. On the other hand, a chick that actually knows about cars (which is someone i'd rather be with) might prefer the Supra because she knows about its history and performance capability. Not only that, but the Vette chick would obviously just like you because of your car, while the Supra chick might like you as well as the car because of your tastes.

So I guess if you're just looking for a lady to hit it and quit it, maybe the Vette, but if you want a chick that knows her stuff to keep around for a while, i'd probably choose the Supra.

Back on topic - I have seen first hand what a vette will do for chick picker uppage - one of my coworkers has one of the "barbie" vettes, and he gets more play than, well I don't know - my analogy ability is askew today.
