what am i logging for?

Okay so i just finished my build about a month ago. now i want to start tuning but not before i have a data logger. right now i am using torque for android its pretty good but its does not have an option to log knocks. i never used a logging software before this so my question is what are the most important you guys log for? (boost, a/f, knocks, rev, load, temps etc..)

You don't have a tuning method listed in your profile so I'll add my 2 cents. You have a 95 so you might want to open up your ECU and see if its an EPROM and go with DSMLink. Tuning and datalogging all in one. It can be a bit pricey but it's a great setup and the support forum is excellent. Or swap it out for a flashable 98/99 ECU, get a Tactrix cable, EVOScan (program for datalogging), and ECUFlash. Not as much support, but it's cheaper.

boost is an awesome thing to be logging if you have a MAP sensor. +1 on dsmlink, almost everyone on this site is running those goodies.

thanks for the info, and i do have an eprom ecu, at this point i am looking at tunerpro because with all the supporting hardware i could be tunning for about $200 but like you said with ecuflash i dont have to much support.
