I did a search but found nothing that helps. Here is my problem: Sometimes my aftermarket guage will not register vacuum, the one in the cluster does, but not as much as it should while cruising, if I give the car a modest amount of gas it spools up the turbo.
As I said, it only does this sometimes; at other times it works just fine. I don't know if this happens because of the amount of boost I'm running(15psi) or something else. I have a 90'gst mods are as follows: mbc, hacked air can, poly filled mounts x3, egr block off vacuum lines to egr blocked off, front strut brace, turbo timer. that's it so far, I'm getting an srt-4 intercooler in later this week. I also have a data logger running mmcd.
The next oddity is that it idles lower when at operating temp when the brakes are applied or I'm at a full stop with brakes on. I replaced the vacuum line to the brake booster last year. I have no idea what this could be.
