Well I drove my car quite a bit this week, and now it is having a strange problem. The alarm chirps to be armed, the door locks lock, and the hazards go on all at the same time, and I have found no explaination? It's really weird and happens quite often, and I went as far as pulling the hazard fuse, but they keep on going like the fuse is still there. I also disconnected the alarm thinking that might be the problem, but it still does it. Anyone know what this could be?

The chirping stopped when I removed the power lead to the alarm horn, but yeah the doors still lock themselves, and the lights still flash regardless that I removed the hazard lamp fuse. I only have one alarm on my car, an aftermarket one that I had installed about 2 yrs ago. Still think it's the alarm? If so, I will have to check it out again.

does your '95 come with a factory alarm? if so it may be that, my '95 gst had a similar problem, the alarm would go off after a few minutes after i parked it.It was the switch that is bolted to the radiator support to let the ecu know if the hood is open. The bracket that the switch was mounted on was bent down enough to keep the hood from pushing on it,much like light switch on the door jams.I just bent the bracket up al ittle and problem solve.

I'm not sure if it has a factory alarm. Well actually it must, because it has a fuse for it. I can't find any sort of switch for the hood though, just the latch, etc. Where exactly is it located? I'm not sure if this is my problem or not but it's worth a shot, because this started happening a while after I adjusted my hood supports that hold it up, but I did put them back down and it's still doing it. I only adjusted them because the hood would not open up on it's own and I got tired of having to have 2 people just to open my damn hood. But if that's how it's gotta be then that's how it's gotta be, but if I can just move/bend/adjust a switch that is mounted then that would be even better!

If that doesn't work disconnect every wire on your after market alarm not just the power wire/fuse to see effect. After market alarms are notorious for weird problems when they go bad or wired improperly for our cars.
