a buddy of mine had an idea today, but i wanted to see if anybody had thought of it or used it before. i told him i was interested in water injection and he told me he used to do it by just running a vacuum line into a bottle of water in the engine bay with a needle at the end of the hose to effectively be used as a jet. but since we have boost, this won't work so he brought up the idea of routing it before the turbo in the intake pipe. has anyone ever tried this or have any comments. would that hurt the turbo at all? he also brought up the point that it will also help to keep the turbo and intercooler cool. a larger sized needle could be used to in turn make the "jetting" larger. tell me your ideas.
