I couldn't get my turbo that i bought used to boost, i took apart the tial 35mm wastegate to find the seal had a hole melted in it. i haven't been able to find a replacement, i was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction. or has anyone else had this problem?

You can always contact the manufacturer for the seal you need www.tialsport.com . Also, specify whether you need the one between the wastegate flange or where the seals sits between the two halves where the diaphram sits.

Are you sure it's a Tial and not some Chinaland knockoff? If not, I'd replace with a new Tial38 which is a direct replacement/upgrade of the 35mm.

As for replacing just the diaphragm, try one of the vendors that carry Tial and see what they can do :dsm:

ok, i went and looked at the wastegate, and it doesn't say tial on it anywhere... do tial wastegates say tial on them? its it a knock off? and i did get an email back from roadraceengineers.com about the wastegate diaphram, they can get it for $75. if the one i have is a knock off, it might be wise of me to upgrade to an actual tial 38mm.

It should say tial on it. You should go with bigger one, less headache later ... good luck

All Tials have "Tial" embossed on the top of the diaphram housing and/or on the housing itself.

Replacing the diaphram may work, or you may have pissed $75+shipping away. If it were me I'd just put the money toward a new/used Tial38 (not much more money) and never have to worry again :dsm:
