Hello,i was wondering if anyone here could tell me what would cause barometric pressure sensor fault code.
I have replaaced the maf sensor twice and it will go bad again after about 6 weeks.
The car will run fine once you replace the maf but after it throws the cel it will start to stall when shifted into neutral.
I live in malta and i have a hard time getting parts as there are no vr4 engines here and i have to get parts shipped from the u.s each time.
I'll be checking the wiring to the maf plug and replacing the ecu soon, but other than that i dont know what to do next.
I know vacuum a leak or faulty isc or tb can also cause a stall but they have all been checked and or replaced, plus like i said it will run fine when the maf is replaced...its fault code 25 not the actual maf that goes bad.
The car is completly stock except for the 245 walbro fuel pump and fmic.
ECU is also standard vr4 md 128618 dual board non eprom 195bhp.
Any help greatly aprreciated.
cheers.

Maybe check the front oxgen sensor. Code 25 means "Air–Fuel Ratio Lean Malfunction" for obd1 vechile. Basically, I think it's telling you the car is running really lean. Do you and air fuel raito gauage?

Edit: THIS respond is invalid because you are right code 25 for our car is Barometric Pressure Sensor.

According to the 1g code reader i found on this site fault 25 is for the baro sensor....and 11 is for the oxygen sensor.but no i dont have a fuel ratio gauge.like i said when replacing the maf it runs fine at first,..

Sounds like your ecu is the problem. You probably fried that part of the board and is why switching the maf doesn't last. I would inspect the ecu and check for leaking caps or damage. If found send to ecmlink for repairs. I have a good working ecu if you need it to try. Pm me also if your running a walbro 255 on the stock fpr its possible your over running it and need a afpr. To be able to adjust fuel pressure to its proper place.
