Welll I was on the highway just ending a 75 mile trip when I felt somthing strange... like a small 'jerk' so I pull over and as i'm coming to a complete stop my car starts to vibrate really bad. (as if I were stoping but leaving it in gear without the clutch pressed in) When the car completey stops its gone. As I drive off slowly it feels like all the tires are locked. I can barley move.. then it goes away.

I noticed that this only happends when I slow down from high speeds (50-70 mph) but during regular city driving its totally fine(seems that way) it Locked up on my 3 times today coming off the highway and each time the car wouldnt move untill I give it a good amount of gas. When I get it rolling all seems fine in the city, i can stop, reverse, all gears seem smooth and so on.

ps sorry for spelling..its 3 am

Check your CV joints, u-joints, and wheel bearings. CV joints can be tested by crawling in a tight circle one way then the other. Wheel bearings by lifting the wheel off the ground and spinning it. Any grinding noises from either test means it's bad.

Do u think it may be tranny or xfer case relateed? should just check that out first? that was my first guess, but what really scared me was that my car wouldnnt move after coming to a stop from high speeds.

Well that's certainly a possibility but how are you going to check them yourself? About all you can do is check their gear oil levels. If they are your problem you are going to have a very expensive repair and have to take it to a transmission shop. Does the car have these problems when you put it in neutral and go the speeds and do the things where it happens? I would first test for the things I mentioned since you can do them yourself. If ok then take it to a transmission shop and get their advice. Or if you really want just go there first. If you're mechanically inclined you could raise the whole car off the ground on jack stands, run it in gear, and look/listen at all the CV, U-joints, wheel bearings, and even put a stethoscope on the tranny/transfer case to listen for bearing noise. Also with the car off wiggle all the joints and bearings to check play/noise.

M/T, i wasnt going to check them myself, I just got a lot of work done on my suspension including the things mentioned above so I still have warrenty from tires plus. But the thing is I got that dont a few months ago so maybe the problem worsend?

Ps, Now that i think of it, I did start to hear some strange sounds a few weeks back

OK i just checked somthing, As i slow down in neutral after high speeds the same thing happends. It doesnt matter what gear its in it all feels the same. After I try to drive away from a complete stop it feels like i'm trying to take off with the break pedal all the way down. Then i put it in reverse it vibrates bad and a couple steps later my car is fine and i can drive in any gear in the city as long as i dont get to highway speeds.

Sounds to me like brake issues. Warped rotors? Pads are so worn the the little rods in the caliper are sticking or they just dont have any grease on them. Check the brakes out and let us know.
