So i recently bought a 1995 manual gsx with a 1990 6 bolt swap, and from everything ive found and read the car still appears to have a 1995 wiring harness, and 95 ecu, and i believe that i am either having maf or tps issue, while driving, mostly on the highway around 3k, intermittently the car will start to hesitate and chug and my wideband will go full lean, but if i clutch in and "kick" the throttle and let off the clutch it'll be fine for a little bit and then do it again, and ill have to do the same thing, and when its doing this it also wont idle very well and my wideband will throw error 9 (low voltage) like the car is about to die.
So i ordered a tps for a 2g and went to put it in and found that the car still appears to have a 1g tps on it, its only a 3 wire sensor and the new one is a 4 wire, my main question is could this be an issue with it since the ecu wants to see the ips and this tps doesn't have that wire? And should i go ahead with the install of the new tps?

Another concern i have is with the cold weather and having an atmospheric bov and blow through maf if anyone has seen issues of condensation forming from the pressure change of the bov releasing and causing an issue with a blow through maf?

Thankyou in advance for help, ive searched and searched and had no luck

From your description, it sounds like you are hitting fuel cut. You should also do a boost leak check and check out the tune on your setup. I assume it's a maft so here:

Also, if you indeed still have the 95 ecu and harness, you are correct in that you would want the 2g tps.

Make sure to adjust it when you install it:
