Valve cover rattle.

I noticed when I was painting the valve cover that one of the plates on the back is lose and rattles. It's the one under the oil cap. What can I do about fixing this.

Just remove it, the cover that came off of my 96 never even had a place to mount a baffle there

So it is okay to remove? How do I remove it. Like What's the best way

I wouldnt worry about it, you wont notice it when installed back on the car. But to remove it just drill out the rivets or grind the heads off and the plate will come right off.

It's a pretty bad rattle That's whyvim concerned. I'll see what I can do today
