aem cai, air horns, and it doesn't change you damn gear ratio. you have to change your drive and driven gear to do that. i'm not going to keep on saying this if you are not going to listen.

####in A.......dude doesn't listen , does he?

I agree with shuwa29, A CAI will not change your gear ratios, you will get there faster, but isnt going to change them. Shuwa29, that hood is sweet as hell man, I give you props on that man, it looks bad ass.

If by gear ratios you mean time inbetween shifing, get a new exhaust. I have noticed significant boosts, and my transmission is stronger, gives me more time to shift since 1st is more powerful ect. If it's not what you meant, disregard it

time between shifts can be reduced even more by getting a shift kit for under $20. i am talking about what jonb7777 said. he mentioned how the rpm's were lower than before. this is not possible unless he changed his drive and driven gears or if he turned on his O/D. then yes, the speed to rpm range would be different.

speed to rpm is based on gear ratio's. understand this. i'm trying to help you out. and by the way, run with o/d off when you going under 45. it's been known to cause tranny problems when engaged at lower speeds. it tends to put to much stress on the tranny. just some words of advise. plus i'm not going to pay another $250 + for an intake that will give me a hp. not worth it. just another marketing idea. and apparently, it's working.

thanks for the help, and i know u prob know your shvt.. but on the od, do u have od?? or an auto?? if i take off od the car runs funny.. its like im putting stress on the tranny if i dont have it engaged.. i barely go under 45 anyways.. im in germany remember.. no speed limit..........

im not sayin buy a new cai.. im just saying if u could test the v2 out.. u should.. cause u could be wrong.. especially on the one hp thing..:thumb:

im in the 11avn regt.. its near wurberg in germany.. let me know when u get orders.. it may say ur first assignment although it didnt on mine.. they usually dont give u pinpoint assignment till u finish ur skill identifier training.. if u are in germany period its close to me.. germany is small..LOL

i still have to go through boot camp and tech school for the air force so it'll be 6-7 months until i'm stationed anywhere. right now, japan and germany and spain are my top choices.

to be honest ull prob get germany.. those others are pretty hard to get...

take care.. good luck at boot.. but its pretty easy compared to army so ull prob think its cake.. just remember the first two weeks are the worst.. "hell week"

Better than Injen Race Division? All the research I did, said Injen was better than AEM, even v2?

yeah for the SI.. they didnt do any raw research on 2gnt's..

i had 3 intake systems. weapon-r dragon intake system.. aem cold air intake system, and the aem v2..

the v2 juss kicked ass.. i love it.. but the downfall for it is juss that it doesnt have a bypass valve.. its not like it matters, but in the rain it does. so when it rains i juss slap on the weapon-r dragon intake system.
