I'm having a problem with my 95 gsx (7-bolt) that I just swapped in a stage 3 keydriver chip burned for my RC 550cc injectors, FTS FPR w/gauge (set correctly at 43psi), and Walbro 255lp fp. If I put a load on the engine it studders really bad trying to build boost and I can't get over 15mph. It feels like I'm running out of gas once that 1-2psi of boost hits (don't ask how I know :coy: ). I didn't install the seal the correct way around the top of the gas tank under the back seat at first, but only noticed because of the constant gas fumes, leaking gas from around the top of the gas tank, and the fuel dripping from under the car :tease: :| . I have since corrected the seal and put it on correctly, no fuel has leaked out and my FPR will not adjust up from 20psi no matter which way the screw is adjusted w/ the vac. line removed. I really think it has to do with the actual install of the fuel pump or white plastic cap and that's whats mess'n with my fuel pressure. If someone has expeerienced this after a fp install let me know how you fixed it, or if I'm even on the right track.

I currently have NGK BPR6ES plugs now and with the bump in fuel the car is seeing, even on the stock turbo it's probably best to switch to 7's at this point. Thanks in advance for the help :thumb:

I agree. I think you said that you have 20 psi of fuel pressure. Your injectors wont operate properly with pressure that low. I am pretty sure base pressure for a 2g is 43 psi. You need to go over your install and check everything for errors.

I agree with the other responses. It looks like fuel related.

- Fuel pump not sealed correctly in assembly
- Kink in the fuel supply line
- Clogged fuel filter
- Faulty AFPR (valve seat stuck open, not allowing fuel pressure to raise)
- Faulty fuel pressure gauge
- Maybe even faulty spark plug or wires
- Or the slight chance of some other electrical problem

BINGO!, Fuel pump wasn't sealed correctly made sure the little o-rings weren't pinched and the FPR works like a charm now, can't wait to get the B16g, FMIC, clutch, and flywheel on. Thanks guys :thumb:
