I have an afc and a wideband along with the keydiver stage 3 chip for my 6 bolt swap but no logger yet. When it was cold outside, my car would bog at low revs and have no power across the whole powerband at all times. I unplugged my coolant temp sensor on a hunch and my car is actually faster. What i cant find anywhere is the criteria for the ecu to go to limp mode. Anyone ever unhooked thier coolant temp sensoir in a 2g then logged it? I am getting a new one tommorow but I was just curious to how it affects the ecu. It still goes into closed loop from the looks of things on my wideband but it always felt really slow like someone big ass dude was just grabbing on to the back of my car. All I know is that between 1000-2500 it bogged really bad with my coolant sensor plugged in, now it drives somewhat normal. Still feels like I dont get much timing advance if any.

A friend of mine gave me a coolant sensor today and I put it in. So far, so good. Everything seems to run right except for the massive blowby I get. I wish my motor was built better but I cant complain I guess, I dont get rod knock or anything. I feel timing now and the engine doesnt bog.
