i replaced the pad about a week ago because it was time and the replace ment went fine but since i have been driving, the outside of the rotor is getting hit wile the inside is getting rusty. so what should i do to fix it?

Yeah, that's strange, the caliper should squeeze them both equally. I don't see how it could get one side but not the other...

The lower guide bolt which is removed in order to swing the caliper up and the upper bolt both need to be well greased. The caliper needs to be free to travel back and forth as well.

thanks guys, i did grease the pins very well but i will look it over again this weekend. to hot to do it today (90 F).
