:talon: So, the problem is heat,I was running a ported 14b,with no problems. I Finally saved up to get the PTE SCM 60. And ever since the install (3 days)Its Running hot I'd say about 70 percent on the gauge..

So far I 1.drained and flushed all the coolant, (to install the bigger new turbo)
2.bought 2 new 12" electric fans (to install the bigger new turbo)
3.added the not so magic water wetter.!

And now all of the sudden Hot!! WTF?

Oh yea, thermostat is months old and water pump tested good as per the factory mitsubishi book.and my radiator flushed out nice!!

Like I said absolutelly no problems with 14b last week!

Now Im wondering did I do a bad thing with the coolant lines that used to go to the 14B?

I just connected them around(bypassed) where they used to go!

Or could my tune be that far off?

Like I said help if you have time,I'd appreciate it.

Now it was my understanding (being the rookie that I am :) ) that a bigger turbo doesn't mean more heat. Especially with the supporting mods he's got. The 255 pump and bigger injectors should be able to supply more than enough fuel to keep it cool. If he's getting that hot, it has to go back to the radiator/cooling system. Are there any other symptoms that you can see/hear/smell/feel yet?

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, as I most likely am. (I'm the type the learns the hard way I guess).
