Hey guys.......I searched the forums for my answer, but couldn't find it so I decided to post this.....Anyway, I left my car lights on today and when I got out of school, my car wouldn't start. Public safety jump started my car, and it turned on, but I noticed that my turbo timer did not turn on. I have an HKS type I turbo timer; I tried pressing all the buttons, but it was dead. I also noticed that my left fog light burned out, and when I signal right....the blinker in the dash was blinking alot faster than normal. The left one is blinking normally though. Can one of you guys tell me what happened to my turbo timer and my right turn signal? Did I blow a fuse or something? Thanks in advance guys.

hey man i wish i could help.. i had the same exact thing happen to me..I have the greddy TT and i left my lights on before and now my turbo timer doesnt work.. ive searched and searched and never found the solution ..im still lookin

How long ago did it happen to you? Did other stuff get screwed up too (like my turn signal)? Or was it just the turbo timer? Let me know when you find the answer...it's really pissing me off now. Thanks for replying though....at least I know I'm not alone on this one.

yeah man no problem...Well since then my turn signal only acted up like that once... i made a post about this before and somone told me to check for a fuse down by the ECU but ill be damned if i ever find it...i looked forever for a fuse down there and found nothing.. all my other fuses work.. Im almost thinkin i shorted somethin out inside the Turbo Timer :thumbdown

Hey Orso,

I got good news. I finally had time today to try and diagnose my problem. What I did first was to check all the fuses. I took out every single fuse in the car one by one to check if there were any blown fuses. There are 2 fuse boxes in the car (1 under the hood and 1 on the driver's side in the car). I carefully put them all back to make sure they were all in, and turned on my car. Low and behold, my turbo timer turned on too!!! :) I guess something was loose or something, but it worked for me. I don't know what it was but try and play with your fuses, maybe that might work for you too. Let me know what happens. Good luck.

The reason why the turning signal was blinking so fast was because the light was out or there was no connection. For some wierd reason it does than on a lot of cars, even my friend's mom's caravan. It's just a feature telling you that there is something wrong with the turning signal light.

The reason it blinks faster is because the relay for the turn signal has less resistance when there is one less bulb. As for the turbo timer, mine just did the same thing, but i did'nt leave the lights on. It comes on once in a while.
