Ok so here's the issue:
Car is a 90 Talon TSi with exhaust, and an intake for mods. I was driving down the highway and I went to pass a car. Right as the turbo would normally spool, the pressure just shot up. It went to 25 psi on my gauge and obviously hit fuel cut. So at work the next day I did a boost leak test and it turned out my boost controller was leaking like a siv. I replaced that did another boost leak test, and no leaks were found. Well this morning I went for a little test before work. Car pulls HARD through first and second, No issues at all. The problem arises in third gear. When the turbo spools it pulls good until 10 psi, then after that nothing. Feels like no more power is being built and the car just STOPS pulling. This happens in 4th gear as well. I have my boost set to 12 psi normally as well.
And Ideas what is wrong?
