turbo back exhaust gaskets????

I recently bought a used turbo back for my gst. It came with only 2 gaskets which i dont want to use because they are pretty shot. I also dont feel like buying 6 gaskets at 6bucks each plus shipping. Im thinking about just using some type of sealer. Something like RTV. Anybody recomend any brands. I know i should use real gaskets but i would like to try something else first and later on get the gaskets since i just bought a new clutch and flywheel since my clutch is about gone. If anyone or even a vendor can shoot me a part number for some 3 inch gaskets with 4 3/16in bolt to bolt i would greatly appreciate it since i work part time at advance auto parts and can cross refrence part numbers and get them for cheap. I have only found them on the internet and not at work.

I know autozone makes sheets of gasket maker just use your old one as layouts and cut news ones. You use sealer it won't last a week. Other than that you might have to pay the $6 bucks each.

That's paper gasket material and won't work for exhaust flanges. To the OP just bring in your old gaskets to pep boys or whatever, and they should be able to match em up for you... even at a 3" size. that's what I used to do for people when I worked there. Even if the bolt holes don't line up perfectly you can always take a round file to em to make it work. 3" flange gaskets are like 99 cents.

anybody think jb weld might work? I have used it on a few beater cars of friends to patch exhaust leaks and it has worked great. As long as i let it set up long enought i think it will do ok. Any thoughts?
