OK, I am using pocketlogger to tune, now when tuning fuel trims, what is the best gear to tune from? Now this is just for tuning low settings on the AFC. I have been cruising 3rd gear to to tune for every rpm range up to 4000 rpm and I get them down to 0. Now when i cruise in 5th gear, the shorterm fuel trims are telling me to lean out some more when I'm at part throttle. Is that because of Engine speed and LOAD? I dont get it. What is the best gear to tune from? Is it better to tune the low settings and all the RPM in SEcond gear? Ok, here are my mods:

td06h20g
MachV 3 in intake
Greddy fMIC
Greddy type s bov
walbro 255 fuel pump
denso 660cc
3in O2 eliminator turboback
AFC

Throttle Points on SAFC are

30Low/70high <--------- Is this ok to use for this set up? I used to use 20/60

Would appreaciate the help. Thanks DSMTUNERS

Oh yeah, I also forgot to add that I am using the STock fuel pressure REgulator. HOw often are those replaced??

Thanks again.

Seeing as you've got a Walbro 255, you really should move to an AFPR now. The stock FPR won't be reliable for very long. It will make tuning a whole lot easier.

If I get a Fuel Pressure Regulator, Will I still be using 43psi for FPR? Or do I have to decrease the PSI ON the Fpr?

here's how to tune fuel trims:

start up your car, and drive. the ECU does fuel trims on it's own. unless you're WAAAAAY off on the SAFC it'll adjust itself within a day or two of regular driving

You still did'nt answer my Question. I asked What is the Ideal gear to tune the fuel trims??
I know how to get them to ZERO. LTFT and STFT have to be = to 0. Will this work for any gear when tuning them?????
