hey guys i need help!!
I did installed a 14b but there is no boost at all i dont think is the turbo because when i turn my car on it was so loud and i think is from the exhaust manifold so what i did is tight those bolts really hard but still f*** loud, then i did the same thing with my downpipe and still loud, so i took the 14b and exhaust manifold, there is anybody who can first
look at the turbo and make sure is ok
reinstalling it again but good(maybe i suck and didnt do it right)
and do a good tune i have maft and i just installed a aem wideband
let me know guys i can also pay you with some parts and cash(i have a exhaust manifold, coil pack, side skirts no end caps, instrument cluster)
 
Can someone post the address of the shop? Me and my buddies live in northern MD so im not familiar with it.
 
found the leak it was from my external wastegate missing a valve seat, well i just need a tune any tips please, i have a aem wideband a maft, come on guys help me out i need my car running nice a smooth, thank you
 
hey guys, just wanted to say sorry i couldnt make it, i know i said id be there but i was in a accident 2 hours into the trip on the other side of washington. at 1015 1030. just got dropped off by tow truck, had been sideswiped by a tractor tralier and popped tire and broke the rim. sorry guys

yea i showed up for the meet. me a sean ended up just eatin spicy ramen and playin halo 3. LOL. i was the only one that showed. it was still fun an good to see him again and chill. LOL
 
I dunno, I'm thinking about just letting the DSM club thing go. 2 out the 3 times I had a lot of people say they were coming and then 1 person shows. I arranged a meet at a Tuner shop and an embarassing 7 people were going to come with 5 cars. I can't imagine how pissed I would be if only 1 showed at the shop.

I just don't feel like it's worth the energy.
 
Yeah man it sucks. The veterans meet turned out ok. Was suppose to be doing another one this month of middle of next for end of season. Trying to do a dyno day/cook out. But I think I might just let it fall to the back burner aswell.
 
Well I can't tell you what to do. I can tell you that if I was reminded via a mailing list or text I would have showed up. I noticed the day of and wanted to come badly. Not only would I have came BUT I LOVE SPICY RAMEN and me and my girl play halo 3 EVERY DAY. I'm a level 42 and she is a 41 :).

Let me know man, I want to come out bad but I'm just really forgetful. I've had A.D.D. since I was a kid LOL

Man that sucks. I would have def been there but my car is down and my girl had to work that day. If you ever just wanna have like little meets or like BBQ I would be down.
 
IF only i would have seen this thread like 2 weeks ago, i may have come, but I had work. But I would be down for future stuff
 
Dont give up in it demon. sometimes crap just happens, I hosted a meet back in 2005 in OC md and I had over 100 people sign up but only about 53% showed, I was really embarrassed because I had already booked the hotels and restaurants. I made plans so that everyone all 100 cars could participate and in the end I felt like an ass because I was kind of mean to a few of the people that worked the hotels/restaurant because of the number of people I was trying to accommodate. I spent 300 on custom stickers and I still have half of them LOL. I went out of my way to make sure every person that showed had a great time and wanted to do it again, I think i made it fun and exciting for all who participated. There was only one incident in all three days and it wasn't even the guys fault it was the idiot that crashed into him. Drunk and speeding = retard. I got my car back together except for needing to do a timing belt job. I am still looking for a hand with that btw. But I def want to be a part of this and I will do anything thats needed to make it work. I have wanted a dsm club in the tri state since I was 15. This might be the only shot I get to be a part of one. I want to be a part of a great bunch of guys talking about and working on the cars we love so very much.
 
I don't know how far you are but I need a timing belt job too soon. Maybe we could tag team our cars together. Right now I'm located in Annandale (NOVA).

3 local DSM clubs have come and gone over the years in this area. one of which lasting 10-15 years. There just aren't enough people in the area that are as serious as they say they are I guess. DSMCA used to have 150+ cars at every meet just 3 years ago or so. and is now dead. Team trinity meets went from 150+ cars to 15ish very fast.
