I am actually thinking of redoing the whole theme of the team. Since most of the original members of Triple Threat are not responding to this thread. I sent all of them PMs.

So I am opening our first meet with the topic of a new name. Then we will discuss decals and shirts the following meet. Our 3rd meet will be the handout of decals and T-shirts.

I will have special decals/shirts made for members who attend all three meets. If you make all three meets, you will be considered a founding member and then get this unique decal/shirt.

I am working with a local shop in F-burg to see if we can have BBQ there. I will arrange a time thereafter. If the shop can't do it. Then I will have another BBQ at my place.
 
I would love to be a part of this. I have a huge ass yard and lots of space for a bunch of rowdy drunks to party. One of my good friends is in the vinyl cutting business so I can help you guys out on cheap stickers shirts and w/e else he can cut, print or make. MY car is in pieces but i am working on trying to get it done so I can do stuff. I think a localish dsm gang would kick ass.
 
i think we need to revive triple threat in general. i mean for the guys that were there in the begining who arent responding, no offense skip em and regroup, we had some great ideas just life got in the way, so i think T3 just needs a refresh. just my opinion
 
I agree with Strange131. I've read the old posts and was interested in this too. Life usually gets in the way from time to time, but if they don't take a minute to respond, they either gave up or haven't had a chance to get back yet. Obviously if they had this much time, most of them probably didn't want to get back into it, so they just let it go.
 
I think that we should keep the name since noone has objected so far to what it is. I also agree that, since some of the original people that were apart of this whole idea arent responding, they should be skipped(no offense). So where is the "refresh" button for this thing. LOL

I'll be there.. By the way I have a friend of mine looking for a 2G AWD trans.. a stock one, just needs to work, if it grinds a little its fine.. Please spread the word.
 
hey guys, for all that are serious about this. please pm me with size of shirt ud like and color. ima do a black with white letter and a white with black letter. ill get up with laserspeeddemon to see whats goin to be dif for the founding members such as myself and him. and whomever else he tells me.
 
Hey guys sorry I havent been around alot lately, I have been busy cleaning out my moms house. But I am down for a meet some time. I think we should do a dyno day some time, that would be fun.
 
i am in stuart v.a (near roanoke) , how far away are these meets going to be laserspeeddemon? you should know, we met up for the rear LOL
 
YOOO. laser whats up im down for another meet just let me kno. i just got back from vacation an have not been on the forums but its good to see that we are still here LOL. give me a heads up before the meet an me and my brother can show up. probably in my 1g since his is still down.

Hey guys...i live up in Towson MD, have some DSM friends but we arent active in any club...I would definatly be down to hanging out for some car fun. PM me with info.
 
Sorry guys. I just wanted to make sure the shop thing didn't fall through. Just coordinated with BIG FOOT Speed and Custom in Frederickburg, VA. Yes the name implies trucks. BUT they tailor to any platform. I have a buddy that works there to make it easy and get "in" with the shop owner. They are perfectly aware this is an import and they are all for it.

The meet is going to be SEPT 12. 11:00-2:00, with the option to either hang at the shop afterwards OR do a little Haloing/COD4/5 at my place. Here is a look at the shop from the inside.

ah ok. Yeah I go to Bigfoot all the time whenever I need fittings and stuff on the spot or fluids that have to be ordered. Also always buy my race gas there. Very nice people there.

What sucks is, I was gonna go to VMP that day to watch an event they have that day. Maybe I'll try to figure out a way to do both. And hopefully have my red junk back together by then.
 
HOLY SHNIKEYS!! i thought this team was like underground now. Good Sh** Laser on startin this up. Well im still down for it, and my cars still down too...literally its still broken. But, im out to the next meet for sure, in dsmnthamakin's DSM of course.
 
OK people, we need a definite count for the shop owner.

Sign up here if you are SURE you are coming. Don't make me look like a fool to this Speed shop with only 2 people showing up when 9-10 people sign up (like July 4th). I'm trying to make a good relationship between 3T and a shop. If you sign up, be there.
