Back in October, when I bought my car, it came with EGT, A/F, and Boost gauges in a triple pillar pod. I never liked the amount of "advertising" it did...people would just keep looking at lights.

It seemed as if the entire reason they were there was to intice ricers at lights.

Well, tonight I fixed the problem. The A/F gauge is about as effective as staring at a Christmas tree so it's gone.

Here's the end result...

The AutoMeter gauges aren't as bright as they seem. The long exposure on the camera made them appear much brighter than they really are.

I wish they made a pod something like that for the 1g's looks awesome. i think ima custom fab for for a 1g where the pods would be in the top corners instead of the bottom corners though nice!!!!!!

Yea, the 3 gauge A-pillar pod seems a little overkill to me. I think I'm going to roll with a 2 gauge A-pillar, and on your advice, I'll get EGT and boost (A/F looks so cool, but everyone seems to agree it is generally useless except for impressing ladies). (So I will definitely by getting one in that case  LOL).

By the way, which model autometer gauges are those? They are very clean and simple, and I think I might go with ones very similar to that...

I LOVE that Gauge settup but at the time a dual A Pilar pod was the cheapest option for me. Now I have a illar with holes... I'm fine with how it is... As long as I can see my BOOST and EGT, I'm ok, I dont mind if it doesn't look as clean.... for now.

I have these and personally I don't like them. You can't see the guages as well. They are great for the sleeper look. I'd be willing to trade for a pillar mount...

Uhhh... did anyone else notice the odometer reads 77,777? Haha.

I have triple pillar pod, 60mm gauges are too tough to get into one those. They are not as dremel friendly.

I just bought the one that goes around your bezel and I can figure out what the want you to do with the 2 holes at the bottom of the bezel. The stock bezel had clips where the holes are in this one. I bezel sticks outs a little because of this.??

Did you get the Auto Meter bezel with instructions?

You're supposed to remove the clips retainers, install the white nylon parts that are included with the bezel and use the included screws to hold the lower portion of the bezel in place.

I may have to look into these. I don't want a whole pillar full of gauges either. I had to do my boost in the pillar for visual purposes. but my Egt and A/F will be in a bezel like that. NICE

Nice gauges... they look sweet... I almost cant see my Boost gauge(autometer lite)... I had it in the lower of the 2 A pillar pods... Well the next gauges That I will get, go right into the Gauge brezel... even though they are sometimes hard to see...

Hard to see?

I've never heard anyone complain about having a hard time looking at the fuel gauge...or the stock boost gauge for that matter. The bezel places the gauges right next to them...in plain view.

The only time I can imagine someone having a hard time seeing is if they ride with the seat-back layed so far back that they're looking out the side of the car through the rear sail panel.

Or...when they're turning...but when you're turning your mind should be focused on things besides what your gauges are reading.

I'm 6' tall, ride with the seat slid all the way back, and have no problems seeing the gauges.

Just don't "be a pimp" and lay that seat-back too far back.

I just got a cheapy from ebay. Worked ok, but I'm sure Autometer's is better. I had to get longer screws cuz it wasn't countersunk.

A little off subject, I wish I could lean my seat back enough to not see gauges sometimes. I have a spyder and they only recline like 2 inches:mad:

i got mine from a guy thats on here, but it was on ebay. there were other ones too. there were some that even sold with a boost & a/f gauge.

there were other ones on ebay for cheaper, but the guy saved me some money since we were kinda local.
