Anyway I can find out if this car I've got had a shep racing trans in it?

if it is a shep racing trans there should be I think it 4 numbers stamped on the trans. Near the revers switch plug. If the numbers are there you can call sheps and he can tell you what was done to it by the looking up the numbers.
