tranny/reverse

today my car drove fine but right when i start it up its hard to go in any gear but after i drove it for a while then parked for about 30-45 minutes i got back in it my car would not go in reverse at all no grinding just wont go in.
also when i go triple digits it wont go back in gear till it drops down to about 60mph need help dont know if i need a new tranny or what

How old's the tranny fluid? I'd recommend swapping it for some Redline Synthetic. It helps the tranny shift a lot smoother and can cure a lot of shifting issues. If it doesn't work then it sounds like you have a syncro problem.

but the car dosent even go in reverse when its off

Mine did that where it would not go in to reverse no matter what. It was a broken shift rail. Your transmission will need to be taken apart to find out for sure and to fix it.

i put a short through in it do you think it could have something with that keep in mind every gears fine i had a friend push me out of his drive way and i drove it home
