Tranny issue??

I currently have a 98 gsx and im having problems going into first gear. When sitting still 1st gear will pop out, but when i am approaching a red light and put it into 1st gear while rolling it goes in fine and i have no problems. Any ideas of what this could be? Maybe syncros, clutch fork or shifter cables? I replaced my slave and master and i also adjusted the clutch pedal so im running out of ideas... any help would be greatly appreciated

have you tried puting it in first and releasing the clutch to see if it pops it out of gear?

It could be syncros. With everything you have already checked it sounds like your gonna have to open up the trans and take a look. But since its poping out of gear i would put my money on it being your 1st and 2nd gear shift fork is broke off, and the slider that the fork moves up and down is moving off the shift fork. But you will know for sure once you open it up. There is a couple of vendors on this site that sell trans parts individually for whatever you need and are fairly cheap. And there is also a thread on the site that has a full diagram of trans internals, but i cant remember exactly were it is.
