I was just looking at prices on the top line versus oem front cover(oil pump assembly). The top line is cheaper but I wanted feed back from anybody using this kit.

I have the topline cover on my rebuilt engine and it seems to work perfectly fine. I inspected in with the OEM one and it seems to be the same quality. I believe slowboyracing also uses topline on a lot of their engines. You may want to check with them for more info. I have about 2k miles on my rebuild and haven't had a problem with it.

I used it on my rebuild. As long as you properly lubricate the gears before you put it together, you should be fine. I used assembly lube when I put it together, but I'm sure a coat of motor oil will work just fine too.

I just ordered one yesterday when i was at Victor Research. They use them in their cars and rebuilds. I do believe slowboy uses them in rebuilds as well.
