Anyone try it out yet? I really like the the Tokyo extreme's arcade style compared to GT4 and wondered if this was any good.

Wow your right, just checked ebgames and gamestop. It's out now for 19.99. I thought it was delayed til may but i guess not. Where did you read that it was only 14.99? I know where i'll be going right after work todayL2RTSiAWD said:I read that it was shipping to stores now and it's only 14.99.

It's really weird. I just went to ebgames, and they said they don't have it yet. They don't even know when they're gonna get it.L2RTSiAWD said:IGN is where I saw the 14.99 price mentioned.
Have any of you actually bought the U.S. game yet?mavisky said:Graphics on IGN look like shit. Hope its better in game.

I'm an Initial D fan and i couldn't stand this game. I just bought it and played it for about 30 minutes and couldn't take it anymore. It feels like they tried to blend simulation and arcade together. The cars handle like they do in gran turismo (stiff). It shouldnt feel like that with a drifting game. The game feels sooo slow paced, the cars can't drift for crap, and wtf is wrong with the music. Don't get me wrong i love heavy metal and some rock, but the music in this game is just boring crap. When i play Initial D in the arcades, the game gets my adrenaline going. This game made me feel bored out of my mind. Sorry for the rant, what a waste of $20.Deadly BlaZe said:This game is absolute garbageI'm an Initial D fan and i couldn't stand this game.
