i have a 97 gst with tokico blue but have ebay coilovers:banghead:
the ride is really bumpy so i wanna get rid of the coilovers and get something else
the car is going to be dialy driven and nothing more
i would like a lower and stiff ride...
what are your suggestions
im 18 with a part time job
i can save some money no problem

thanks

Jason

I have Tokico blues on eibach sportline springs and it is still somewhat bumpy. I'm on 18's so that might contribute to the stiff ride I have. I think any lowered car is gonna be stiff and bumpy as far as driving it goes unless you have 16's.

i had tokico blues with springs on my old 2G talon it was cheap upgrade and i really didnt do much research before i bought them ... i knew they had a 1-75-2.00 drop, to make a long story short the roads in MA suck and the ride was pretty much horrible all the time :ohdamn: .... some adjustble coilovers would be the way to go im thinkin in your case but they are very pricey $$$

I'd say save your money up and get some Skunk2's
I was talking with a few friends last night and they said Tein's are awesome but your really just buying the name.
(I'll probably still get Tein's and be a baller):)

My bro's got Tokico blues with skunk 2 coilovers. Runs nice and smooth. It's his wifes daily driver.

I've been on Tokico blues with tokico springs for a couple of years. Stiffer than stock but softer that Eibach. I have absolutely no complaints.

I had this setup on my car when I bought it. I'm pretty sure the sportlines drop the car too much for the Blues. Mine were blown out pretty bad.

Bingo. The sportlines drop too much for just about any application other than "show".

To the OP, if I only had $200 to spend and I was going to keep the blues, I'd just get some Prokits or maybe the DF210 from Tanabe.
