Today's The DAY!!!!

Well today is the day I finally get to devote to the Talon. Have had it for around 16 months now and finally get to spend a day with it!!! :laugh: :laugh: ( Married with 3 kids before you guys start blastin away!) This thing has been nothing but a pain since I got it and have been whittlin away at it bit by bit but today I finally get the new struts on her! She rides like a brick sh!^ house...! After reading quite a few posts in here about the Seafoam we are also going to run that thru the engine as well. replace the plugs... of course the oil and filter (going to start the Mobile 1 regimen and lucas oil additive to reduse tick) And replace the alternator belt.

The big question I have is how much boost can the 13b (smaller) turbo put out? How can I adjust it without a data logger? If I need to get a data logger on average how much do they run?
I know you alll want me to uprade to a 14b and replace my exhaust with bigger pipes.. but Is there anything I can do with what I have on the car now to make do until more money frees up? I am already $6.5k into this car between fixes and purchase.

looks like you're stock... get a boost gauge and then turn your boost up to ~13 psi. you dont need a logger for this.

get a pump and boost ~15 psi. goodluck!

ok... the new struts are on. MAN what a dif! Rides like a new car! Anyway ran the seafoam thru and WOW! Talk about Smoke! I followed up with lucas oil additive and mobile one and I tell yo the ride home was FUN!!!!! The seafoam did show me that I have an exhaust leak from the gasket between the wastegate and the down pipe. Hopefully will get that fixed soon. Well time to go to work!
