Anyone have any experience with these or something like them? I'm going to have to move my car around in the garage often (to the middle while working, up against the wall when done) and it's impractical to keep rolling it around only being able to go fwd and back.

Something to allow me to move it sideways. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

We used something similar in our high school class. But they were used on a model A kit car, so car was pretty light and pretty easly to roll around. They should work alright for you as long as you garage floor is flat(hopefully). You might just need someone else their to help you push it.

I have a joint in the concrete right in the middle of the floor. Actually there are 2. It's 4 12'x12' squares of concrete. I was just going throw sand in them or wedge something in them so the wheels don't get stuck in there and the car goes flying off the dollies.

These things are freaking expensive, I don't see why they would be more than a jack or a creeper or something. $30 a piece maybe. But I can't find them anywhere, and the link I put on here is for heavy duty work.

You can make your own for pretty cheap. They sell those type of wheels at Home depot for about 4$ each. Just get some steel piping and make the form, and have the wheel sit inside of it. You can use wood also, but I am not sure if that will hold the weight.

i use them. they work well and is not that tough to move the car around. you can find a set for under $100.
