Ok just wondering what is a common range for the timing to advance?
My timing is set at 7 degrees advanced but when I took it out for a drive I noticed that between 3000 and 4000 RPMs it would advance to 25-33. I don't have link yet so that's not a option. I was using Torque a android app via bluetooth which is normally pretty accurate few seconds delay sometimes. Just wondering if this much timing advance is normal.

Under cruise and light load accell that's perfectly normal.. remember torque can't read the amount of advance that you manually dial in by turning the cam angle sensor, so add the 2* yu've added to whatever reading you get on torque.

Normal light load can go as high as 40* on decel or coasting down a hill, average around 32 - 36 on the high way, on a small up hill it may dip to mid 20's (22- 26*) and under WOT it should fall to 9* then advance up to a possible 21* (thinking 2g here and my numbers may be a tad off but these are rough normal estimates)

Thanks I just wanted to make sure. I am pretty new to the whole DSM thing. It is a 2g with a 6bolt swap but running a 2g head. Just wasn't sure how advanced it should go.
