ticking noise coming from stock injectors WHY?

nothing is wrong with my engin there is no noise coming from the engin at all im just wondering why the stock injectors have that clicking noise any ideas?

Injectors always click when they are functioning.

yea i know but its a little slight clicking noise coming str8t from the injectors not the engin bay

They're electromechanical devices. Inside the injector there are moving parts that open and close roughly forty times per second. Small amounts of noise are unavoidable.

The internal parts of newer injectors should be rather precise and make less noise. As Spoolin18 pointed out, however, as the injectors wear, the tolerances will deteriorate and the injectors will make more noise.
