Tial Wastegate...

I'm installing a Tial 46mm wastegate and I have no instructions. Seems simple enough but don't want to screw this up. Question is, why are there two vaccum line nipples on it? Do they both get hooked up or do I plug one? Any help is appreciated, maybe a link to some instructuions.

first off, why are you installing such a huge wastegate? unless your going to be running 700+ whp, i dont see the point in it. just use a 38mm wastegate.

It came with the Red I bought so I'll give it a try, worked on the car it came from.

Nobody has a wategate with 2 nipples on it that can answer my question?

If your running a MBC then just hook the line that used to go to the wg acuator nipple to the bottom nipple on the external gate and leave the top nipple open. If you have an electronic boost controller it uses both nipples for better boost responce and such...

Awesome, Thanks for the info exactly what I needed . Leaving it open won't cause a boost leak?

Only way it would cause a leak would be if the diaphram inside the wg is ruptured which would make it not work right anyway
