Well, im thinking about selling my wheels and getting a 17x9 wheel. I am rolling on 18x8 40et now. I dont really track the car or anything, I just want the meaty look. Plus it will give a better ride with 17's with some nice meaty tires. I was looking at the fno1's. They have them available in a 17x9 43et. I have looked on here for more info on 17x9 on 1gs. I found one thread with a members car rolling on 17x9's with a 45et, I believe. I think I could pull it off with the fno1's at a 43 offset. The member with the enkei 17x9's is rolling on a 255/40/17. As meaty and good as it looks, I would step down a bit to a 235/40/17. I think that would help with the "flush" look and have minor rubbing.
My 18x8's now have plenty of room in the rear. The front sit perfect with a 10mm spacer to clear the 3kgt brake calipers.
What you guys think? You think the 17x9 43 offset, can be pulled off?
