I was curious as to if anyone had a good source to really learn how to tune. I am talking about more than simply tuning an afc, such as tuning with ajusting timing and compensating for knock. I have read all I am aware of such as the dsmlink user's manual, Corky Bell's guide to turbocharging, AEM forums.....ect. If someone knows a good source for learning please let me know and I'm sure it will be much apprectiated by others on the forum board aswell. I have read through the forums and discussions others have had on this site, and I understand what is going on , but I would like a structured set of events of what to look for and what to compensate for. Once again, I have tuned before and have a more than average understanding of tuning with wideband and so on, I am just looking for a "tunning user's guide" which is much more indepth than an afc. A few topics that I am most interested in is adjusting maf Hz to compinsate for assorted variables such as hacked maf's, and when to adjust timing. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Motorbooks Workshop's Sport Compact Car; Engine & Drive Line Handbook is good for begineers to modding cars and tuning. It's biased towards Hondas but still has some good info in it including sections on turbos, superchargers, nitrous, and more.
A lot more advanced is Motorbooks Workshop's How to Tune & Modify Engine Management Systems but is all cars, including those Hondas and also vettes, Ferraris, Jags, more.
Both are availible at Borders or Barnes and Noble and are about $20 a pop.

Thank you for your input, i will check out How to Tune & Modify Engine Management Systems. If anyone else has helpful input, please post.
