i have a 96 talon i just put in an intercooler now the temp goes up so i think its because its blocking the radiator. Why though? air goes right through the intercooler to the radiator how can i solve this without removing it!!!

This may sound dumb, but check to make sure you didn't bump any lines or wires when you installed the intercooler.
Sometimes you get lucky and it's the simple things.

Umm your front mount will cool the intake charge temp but by doing that it will heat up the air and that air that is going to your radiator is now alot warmer than what it was before.

I had the same issue and built an air dam on the core support and vola coolant temps back to normal.

Wire your stock fan to be on all the time or get another fan wired to "pull" in air.

Umm no,

Dont listen to him.

If you fan is running at all times once you get to speed above 45mph your basically going to hinder the cooling because of the fan being on.

yea i dont think im gonna wire it up thanks though. i might just make a custom air dam thing ha. its not like i have a wall blocking the radiator but yea i guess im losing some air. thanks for the help

Well depending on what your goals are and how much boost you want to run, it might be time to buy an aftermarket aluminum radiator. To aid with cooling since you now have a FMIC in front of your radiator.

This happened to me when I flushed my radiator. The most common mistake is not putting enough coolant into the radiator and reservoir.

Open you radiator cap when the car is running and on, check see if you see coolant running threw. Adjust accordingly. That might help

Looking at the engine bay from the front, if you have the fans pushing air through the radiator then it would be counter productive to run then all the time. It will burn out the motor and force the fans to push the opposite way. The only way I can see them being productive all the time, is if they were in the front (before the radiator) pushing air through the radiator or if you have them wired behind the radiator pulling air.

Huh? Many people wire their fans to be on all the time without issue. Why would having the fan on "hinder the cooling"?

Because at speed above 45mph it creates turbulance. That said turbulance will basically trap warm air.

Trust me I have mine wired into the a/c switch with no a/c parts on the car and via logger and autometer temp gauge the car will stay cooler with the fans off at higher speeds.
