TDC To replace CAS?

I searched and couldnt find the answer so I changed my Camshaft Position Sensor and it still does not run... I read in a repair manual that the engine must be at TDC to replace the sensor, Is this true?

Not necessarily. Idealy yes, as if its not you could install it 180degrees out. Chances are thats what happend. What was the original problem that the car was doing. Or lack there of!?!

Make sure when installing the CAS it is aligned. There is a marking on the one side of the pin. Be sure to check timing in general on the cams and crank to see if everything is in time on that side.
