TD06 Compressor housing

Is there a way to clock- rotate the compressor housing so that I can get the outlet to face down and have the center cartrige the right way so the oil in/out face the right way?

there seems to be a brass looking pin which keeps the cetner and the housing in one way can i just remove the pin/key thing? If i do remove it will the oring seal?

or can i rotate the center housing on/from the compressor plate and housing?

Like in the pic the center gets rotated so the oil return in on the bottom

If you are careful, you can either remove the pin or grind a new slot, and the o-ring will still seal. Just be careful when you are grinding.

Pressure test it after to be safe.

Otherwise, it should be fine. Go for it.
