That's not the T-25 turbocharger. This is the T-25 turbocharger:

Serial Number would mean it is a 13g.

You're supposed to yell "Bingo!"

Correct. Therefore, majicalevil, you are now the proud new owner of a TD04-13G-5 from the automatic 1G family. Happy boosting. :|

I can't think of an application where'd youd rather have a T-25 over a 14b. What kind of project are you working on?

EDIT: not a 14b, apparently.

well, its for a really...dumb project. but its boosting a 1993 escort wagon with a 1.9. using a DSM turbo manifold, turned upside down and a t25. the reson for the t25 is because its a great fit, where the 14b the actuator is in the hood! also, we dont plan anymore than 5psi just using a 12:1 fmu. if i get a dyno tune it will go higher.
so i got a 13g eh? well its time to go for the kill on this ebay person!! i already told him that he needs to return the money, then ill ship this back. we will have to see.
but THANK YOU all very much!

this is what the ebay person that sold it to me said.
"Do you even know what turbo types are any t3, t25, t4, t28 or any others, are just flange types hell i know some tractor turbos that have t25 flanges its just different fittings and placement for different set ups it has almost nothing to do with the size of the turbo, they do usually keep all sizes to one flange but they do change alot. Secondly it clearly says STOCK TURBO!"

He's still wrong. The flange designation isn't "T-25" for that turbo and it's not correct to post a completely incorrect name for a product you're trying to sell either, so he's still wrong.

The T-25 IS a stock turbo, it's not like there only one kind of stock turbo. Besides, the 13b is the rarest of all (thank god).
This guy is just all wrong. Report him to the ebay police for fraud.

You can't sell a saturn and say its a 1g DSM so what makes him think he can sell a 13b turbo can call it a T-25 turbo.

is there even a name for the "flange". what should i say, show him serial codes for a 13g and a t25. also, if t25 is the flange, why does the 13g-t28 dsm all fit on the stock manifold.

The one on the left is a 13g turbo, TDO4 housing. The one on the right is a 14B, TD05 housing, same housing as a small or big 16G. If you want a stock replacement, throw on the 14B. It flows more than the T-25 so it will be an upgrade for you, just keep it at stock boost for now, untill you get a logger to see whats going on.
