i took my gauge pillar to have it installed, and when i called the shop to see if they r done with it, they said they couldnt do the oil pressure because instead of putting the new sending unit on, my car has a switch instead of a sender, and if he was to take off the switch and put the sender in there, the idiot light would come on, and my ecu would think that there is not oil pressure and the car whould shut off. so my question is this, will it be possible to hook up a t-fitting and have the switch and the sender on at the same time, and would size will i need, the new sender they gave me with the gauge pillar is 1/4 npt, is that what size my switch will be as well? any help will be appreciated

Yes it is possible to have both sender and switched hooked up through a tee. They just need to "see" pressure. As to what size the switch is, take it out and compare it. Its probably metric though so you may need some adaptors.

do u happen to know where my switch is, cuz i dont wanna pay my shop to it if its gonna be an easy job. i believe it is right next to my oil filter, is that right?

I have no Idea, but if there is a sensor next to the oil filter than that is probably it.

ok, i found out where the sensor is, but i cant get it out, it moves left to right and i can wiggle it, but how do i get it off, someone please help me

It's definitely possible to have both. I run an electric on my motor and I simply replaced the factory guage sending unit with mine that way my idiot light is still plugged in.

In this picture you can barely make it out. Looks like its beneath the crank pulley in the pic, attached to the back of the oil filter housing.
