book value 12,9? + 30k in mods = 3k car. 30k worht of the wrong mods.

I really like the sharp edge and upwards slope of the tail where the supra rear was grafted. Also the custom safc mount that consisted of pulling the cupholder & ashtray and just flushing them into the remaining plastic instead of building a replacement piece that flowed with the console.

as well as the pretty much "fad of the week" ugly everything (20"s... give me a break). the paint is a nice color though. unfortunately you have to rip the whole thing apart to get a decent car and start all over with OEM parts.

you can get a nice clean spider not abused or hacked for less than 8k and not have to fix it or be embarassed to be seen within a one block radius of it... :thumbdown

i am sorry, but i totally agree with this. I really do like the front bumper though. i dont like the 20's.... and i think it would look better with a 99 gsx turbo spoiler. just my opinion.

20's would look nice granted it was bagged and they were tuckin'.... those just give it a skyjacked appearance in my opinion. what is going on with those seatbelts???

That guy would have to give me $30,000 to do him the favor of driving it off the bridge. With all those mods it should be able to fly to safety! :barf:

well its clearly not worth 30K but it is still pretty nice, the molding and door caps look good, just needs to lose the skyjacker effect... engine mods is cool too, given its a show car.. :thumb:

That probably is 30k. Paint/bodywork is not cheap. He has new carpet, the 20s, widebody, etc. Quite a bit of stuff that adds up pretty quickly. It's 30k, counting the value/cost of the car. Mods alone? Nah. He should just say the car is around 30k total investment.
My car doesn't have that much done, and it's valued at $30k by my insurance company. I have turned in receipts, pics, etc. It doesn't take much to get there. It took time, money, and lots of work, but it adds up quickly.
