Hamilton,
I have a 92 Talon and the sunroof leaks every single time that it rains... I searched for a cure and found the weedwhacker line trick and tried it out, here is just one problem. I only have drains on my driver's side of the sunroof and the water ALWAYS pools up and leaks on the passenger's side of the sunroof. I have looked and looked but can't for the life of me find a drain on the passenger side.

I would think that there would be one as the water troughs are slanted downwards from the middle so that the water goes towards both edges. Now the one side works fine (driver's) but when the water goes the other way I am screwed, or the passenger is anyway. I hate getting into a wet car as it starts to smell musty.

Help me out, please.

One thing you can do is take apart your interior of the car. When you take apart the head liner you should see a rubber tube that is connected to the sunroof area that goes down the pillar. You may need to replace that or it may help you find that missing tube on the pass side.

I can't remember if there was one over there though. I thought there was. If not you should see the rubber tube on the drivers side and you could disconnect that and clean that out.

Hope that helps:D

Are the actual holes to drain it missing? If so then thats a defect, it should have 4 holes, one at each corner, if the holes are missing then you will have to take the headliner off and custom fab. and drill a hose to drain the water.

Are you kidding? There has got to be another explanation other than it is a defect. I'm not being an ass or anything, but that deffinately isn't what I wanted to hear...

Well unless they painted over the passenger side ones 3yrs ago, its a defect, mine has 4 drain holes, at each of the corners, and the metal track is slanted just slightly to make the water pool in those corners where the drains are supose to be. Use a magnet in the area where the drains are supose to be...a small magnet, if it sticks to all the spots in there when its a factor defect and the metal never got puntured to create the drains, if it doesnt stick then the people who painted it painted over those 2 and clogged them up.
