sunbaked eclipse center section

I got an eclipse center section, and i removed the letters. In place of the letters is the

outlines of the word eclipse. I'm guessing that the rest of the lens got sunbaked. Has

anyone had problems with this?

If i leave the center section outside in the sun, do you think the u.v rays would turn the

letters into the same color as the rest of the tail light?


btw, i searched and found no solution...

well i took mine out too,and thats just the way they are. letting the sun bake it isn't going to do anything. u could always paint it

You could wet sand it with a VERY fine grit sand paper, then polish it with mothers polish.

edit: That is, unless it's more than "skin deep"

Try buffing with an abrasive metal or paint polish..

yeah the red tint sounds like a good idea but id personallyjust paint it to match ur ride..that looks the sweetest.
