well ive been wanting to do it for a while and read most of the threads on those who did it and where to get all the materials. i bought the suede from ebay 4 yards for 32 shipped and of course the glue from joanne fabrics so heres some pics its not done. im gonna buy that krylon fusion paint to paint the visor and handles dark grey and was wondering if anyone had any experience with that spray is it really good to use to bond to plastic.i still have to do my doors. the rear window trim and some other parts but im lazy.

Hey man i agree with what most are saying, go with the fusion for the plastics it works great my buddy used it on his 2g and I'll be using it on mine. But I wouldn't use it for anything but the plastics such as door panels, kickpanels, etc...

Hey boys and girls, try this link. If it doesn't work, go to Select Products - Car Audio Installation Materials.
I used the suede and did my whole interior of my 94 Accord Coupe. It was sweet, until my wife kept putting cigarette burns in it. Good thing, the suede is transparent so it's good to use as speaker grill covers.

KEV! Ha

Yo you guys who have completed this need to post more pictures. I saw this as an option awhile ago on here and have considered doing it to my headliner at the least. I just haven't decided whether to do the headliner black or tan because I have the tan/black mix. Anyone with black or tan suede needs to post!:)

Haha maybe he is but he still did a damn good job. I say you suede the apillar and bpillar too!

Hey guys, love the pics, I'm in the midst of sueding my interior as well but I had a question. On the headliner, do you remove the current material plus the foam cushion material underneath (can't think of the right word right now :) Or do I just suede over it? I kind of like the soft feel to it, but don't want to get wrinkles, thanks!

Just alittle heads up on the sticky stuff. I used 3M super77 halfway though mine until I was told it will fail under heat. The best stuff to use is by DAP http://www.drentha.com/images/supplies/dap.jpg then get this thinner called naptha at HD or lowes mix to a sprayable consistancy and apply. I got my suede from mami corp. Upholstery Fabric, Vinyl Fabric, Convertible Tops, Auto Carpet, Leather Hides, Marine Vinyl & Carpet since its for automotive applications. That ebay fabric may work if its UV resistant.
heres my suede interior in progress

the glue is starting to fail on mine. but if your supposed to mix that stuff to a sprayable consistancy how do you spray it? LOL or do you mean apply it with like abrush.

3M makes a head liner spray adhesive. Friend of mine used it and it has lasted for quite a while.

:rocks:
KICK ASS DUDE !!!
:hellyeah:

I just happened to be searching this on google and found your thread. Thanks man !!!

suede ftw. I did my 1G in suede-even did the outer seats with some pigskin-like material for the centers. Cann't wait to get back and do my 2G in a couple months. Heat gun work great on corners for that little extra stretch.

After reading this thread Im wanting to re-wrap my interior pieces in my talon. I found that buying body pillow covers for the fabric was cheaper than buying it by the roll :p heres a link to what I am talking about, NEW DREAM SUPREME MICROSUEDE ZIPPERED BODY PILLOW COVER | eBay . I admit I did rush the whole process and instead of using a proper, like cotton roll sheet thing (anyone tell me the correct name of this?) I used an old wool blanket and cut it to the shapes I needed for my kick panels, used 3M 74 Spray adhesive on the plastic side and both sides of the wool sheet, let them tack, then I applied my Sage Pillow Cover micro-suede to it...Not going to lie, it doesn't look anywhere near as good as some of the other picture I am seeing on here, but I'm going to try and redo them sometime soon.
